Test Engineer
Assess safety & performance of new products, materials and processes; design and conduct research-oriented pilot scale experimental setups; conduct range of electrostatic tests for powders and liquids; handle high voltage power source, digital oscilloscope, digital/analog electrometer, field meter, computer controlled data acquisition systems, and other lab equipment. Position requires MS in Mechanical Engineering.
Process Safety Engineers / Specialist
The objective of this position is to provide services in process safety to client in different industries, this includes visiting client sites to identify potential process safety hazards, investigate incidents, analyze test data and evidence, and compiling reports after analysis has been completed. The individual will be responsible to recommend the appropriate testing when needed, assist clients in the interpretation and application of their processing needs. To advise clients in the safe handling and process of combustible/flammable dust, liquids, vapors and gases.
Qualifications:
The candidate applying for this position should have a MS degree (or higher) in chemistry, chemical, or mechanical engineering. Have 5 or more years of experience in process safety industry, preferably in chemical/reaction hazard evaluation, petroleum or petrochemical.
Prior experience as a process safety engineer is a plus and a CSP (or PE) certification is desirable. Working knowledge of NFPA standards such as 654, 68, 69, 77, 30, 499 would be beneficial. Experience in HAZOP leadership, PSM and PHA is a must.
This position would suit individual with experience in Reactor Vent Design, Risk Assessment, Process Development, Dust and Fire Explosion, Hazardous Area Classification and Flammability Materials.
